Tony Moly Magic Food Mango Hand Butter Review

Well, to start with I am sucker of cute packaging and these Korean brands know how to manipulate the minds of people like me. I totally admit I bought this hand butter for one reason only and that is packaging!!! It comes in a cute mango shaped tub and I went gaga over it. Here is a very quick review of TonyMoly Magic Food Mango Hand Butter.

TonyMoly Magic Food Mango Hand Butter

Price and Quantity: The product is pretty pricey. 45 ml comes for INR 525 but please wait for sale. I got it at a 50 % discount in one of the numerous sales that go on at Nykaa.

Description: TonyMoly’s Magic Food Mango Hand Butter is a lightweight yet potent hand cream that contains invigorating and moisturizing ingredients like mango seed oil and shea butter to banish dry skin and nourish your hands! Not to mention, it comes in the cutest mango container and smells just like mango pudding!

My take on this:

  • The packaging is definitely very pretty and you can just use it as a decor item. The packaging material is rubbery. It looks fancy, cute all good but I personally felt little annoyed while opening the cap and kind of missed the usual tube packaging.
  • The hand butter smells like mango pudding but not overpowering. That is definitely a plus!
  • It contains shea butter and hence the consistency is definitely thick but not as thick as Bodyshop’s shea hand cream. After applying the effect stays on for quite some time and I did not feel the urge to reapply for hours. Good thing is that it did not make the hand too greasy. So if you are working on a laptop or writing something you can quickly apply it and it gets absorbed pretty soon.
absorbed in a minute

Did I prefer this one to Bodyshop’s hand creams? No actually I think I am not going to repurchase this. This was a good one for one time use. I was not disappointed but was not too happy either to replace Bodyshop with it.

Hope you found this review helpful! Happy Saturday 🙂
