TonyMoly Egg Pore Tightening Cooling Pack Review

Earlier due to oily skin I used to have a lot of acne especially around my nose. Although those irritating blemishes are gone now there are some visible pores around my nose. I have tried a lot of toners to tighten the pores and some home remedies as well like yogurt and honey mixture and all of them have definitely improved my skin but honestly I can still identify those pores and need to use makeup to cover them. So every now and then I look for products to tighten the pores. I guess this justifies my purchase of the TonyMoly Egg Pore Tightening Cooling Pack 😀

Price and Quantity: In India this product retails for INR 750 and we get 30 gm of the product. The good thing was that I also got the TonyMoly Egg Pore Blackhead Steam Balm which also retails for INR 750 completely free with it on Nykaa. So if you can look for those amazing offers you should be able to find a great deal.

Packaging: I must say about the product packaging. Usually I have seen a lot of the Korean brands are very creative in terms of packaging. TonyMoly is no different. For this product they actually created the tub as a brown egg and the similarity is quite striking. If you show this to someone from a distance there is a high chance that they will not be able to tell the difference :p

My take on the product: This cooling pack looks like something which I did not expect. It is not like a powder nor it is liquid. It feels spongy and slightly wet. So when I applied it to my skin it spread smoothly like a white mask over my skin without any need to add water to soften this up. It instantly gave a cooling sensation on my skin. I left it for 15-20 minutes as directed and washed off with water. The first thing that I noticed was that my skin looks super clean and bright instantly. Even my mother asked me ‘did you do a facial or something?’

I am using it all over my face and not just over the area with large pores every alternate day for 3 weeks now. A small amount of product is enough to cover entire face.

I did not face any breakout or dryness after applying it. The product does not smell like egg and instead has a soothing smell. I personally did not dislike it. Once I clean my face I see that the extra shine on my face around the nose area has been reduced and the skin looks even toned. Although I can still see the pores but the size looks smaller. I love the instant brightness it gives to my skin (may be because of corn starch in the ingredient list). Ahh Millennials; we love our instant gratification 😀
